HPC day

One-day meeting at Coventry University

We would like to invite you to attend Coventry University's first High-Performance Computing (HPC) Day on April 8, 2019. The workshop is designed for existing HPC users to meet and exchange ideas, but likewise for researchers with computational interests (especially outside of EEC) to learn about our HPC facilities. We will have presentations from the UK's national and regional HPC centres and cloud providers as well as an introduction to our own facilities, followed by a range of talks showcasing the research done using our HPC cluster Zeus.

Speakers include:

Chris Johnson (Archer supercomputer, Edinburgh)
David Quigley (Midlands+ HPC Centre, Warwick)
Prady Dash (Amazon Web Services)
Abhishek Kumar (FCS, EEC)
David Parfitt (FTC, EEC)
Stavros Christopoulos (FTC, EEC, to be confirmed)
Charo del Genio (FCS, EEC)
Ibrahim Almakky (FTC, EEC)
Martin Weigel (FCS, EEC)
